Why I *Probably* Won't Be Playing Diablo III

It's been nearly twelve years since I first played Diablo II and longer still since I first played the classic that is the original Diablo. Since then, I've been chomping at the bit for more. The first Diablo still ranks as one of my favorite games of all time. Although, Diablo II was damn good it still fell short of the masterpiece that was the first installment of Diablo. Even with the innovations and changes it introduced to the franchise and while it was still a great game, it never captured the atmosphere and memorable moments the way Diablo had.

This made the announcement of Diablo III, a sequel twelve years in the making, not only exciting but very intriguing. I could only fathom what Blizzard had in store for Diablo III after all these years; would it more closely resemble Diablo II with its wide open environments or would the series return to its roots and drag you under ground to the very pits of hell?

Prior to the first rumors about Diablo III surfacing, I admittedly hadn't thought all that much about Diablo for many years. It seems as though neither had Blizzard, considering they seemed to be preoccupied with their money tree, World of Warcraft. Although they did get around to finally releasing Starcraft II, albeit, it too took 12 years to complete. That's not to say that it wasn't well worth the wait.

When the first tidbits about Diablo III were released I was excited, to say the least. Memories of exploring catacombs, casting firewalls, running from The Butcher and getting ripped off by Wart in the town of Tristram all came flooding back. I heard rumblings of a private Beta and before I knew it the Beta had been made public and I completely missed the opportunity to play it, of no fault but my own I must admit. Still I was consumed with excitement as Diablo III's release date grew closer.

Diablo III is one of, if not, the most anticipated game Blizzard has ever released. Evidenced by its pre-order sales being the largest for a PC game in Amazon's history. On top of that, the Beta hosted 2 million people, who logged on to play it over the weekend it was available. Clearly I'm far from alone in my fever-like excitement for the next installment in the Diablo series. Unfortunately, this only serves to exacerbate the gut punch when I learned that Diablo III would require a constant internet connection in order to play it.

Yeahbuhwhy?! I asked myself again and again. My knee jerk reaction was to assume that Blizzard was simply jumping on the bandwagon with Ubisoft and butchering their own game to prevent its resale. However, Blizzard claims this wasn't their motivation. While I'm skeptical, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. The big wigs at Blizzard explained that their motivation for requiring an internet umbilical cord is not related to DRM(digital rights management) at all. And unless I missed it, Blizzard is not requiring any sort of online pass for people who buy the game used so thankfully that isn't their motivation either.

Blizzard reasons that because your character will be saved on their server, Battle.net, if they didn't require a constant online connection to play then your single player character could not be used on multiplayer servers. This would force you to create a completely new character for online play. Quite honestly, I don't think that's such a big deal. Especially considering that's exactly how the original Diablo was.

In the original Diablo, you're given the option play solo or online with friends. The fact that you have to create separate characters to do so doesn't diminish the experience. If anything, it potentially adds to it. Consider the five character classes you have to choose from. Save for the Barbarian, there are no returning character classes so no matter which class you pick you have a completely new experience to look forward to. What's to stop you from having a Wizard as your single player character and a Demon Hunter as your multiplayer character or whatever combination you see fit?

Blizzard references World of Warcraft (WoW) to support their argument. Their claim is that the practice of requiring a constant online connection has been around for years, so why the fuss? There are quite a few holes in their argument though. WoW is a Mass Multiplayer Online game and people are therefore expected to have a constant online connection. Where as, when playing a single player campaign it feels unnecessary to need to be online. Not to mention, you'd be hard pressed to find even the most causal WoW players having only a single character, and restraining themselves to only one server no less.

Another argument is from the stand point of eliminating hacks from the game; a worthy ambition. But can an internet umbilical cord really prevent the problem? Doesn't World of Warcraft still have its fair share of problems with dupes and hacks despite requiring a constant internet connection? If you Google 'WoW gold/items 4 cash websites', the list goes on for hours. Essentially you can pay "X" amount of money for "X" amount of gold or weapons or mounts, specifically ones that don't 'Bind on Pick-Up' or 'Bind on Account.'

As stated earlier, I've reigned in the majority of my initial disappointment. However, I definitely won't be waiting in line at midnight to snag a copy of Diablo III when it's released, nor will I feel that I'm missing out on something great by not doing so. Perhaps, one day I'll breakdown and decide to play Diablo III. Especially if they reintroduce the Necromancer into the series. Short of that, I'd sooner dust off a copy of Diablo or Diablo II and one night, when my internet is down, be reminded why I loved those games so much.

Can I Play Diablo 3 If I Haven't Played the Previous Versions?

Diablo 3 continues the story of the Sanctuary and of the way it was destroyed by the Armies of Hell. It does follow the lead of the two previous Diablo versions, but without depending on their storylines.

The Diablo storyline legacy still makes the basic framework. The gamers who are barely getting familiar with the story through Diablo 3 will certainly find it captivating to try the two previous editions. However, the lack of knowledge regarding the past games is not necessarily an impediment in playing Diablo 3, as the new storyline has its own charm and independence.

According to it, the world destruction took place 20 years before. The saviors of the Sanctuary are now either mad or dead. Some of them even lost their memory completely. Now, the Evil finds its way in every time and new and new heroes have to live up to the challenge. The powers the good and the evil store are different, but the basic principles of good and evil, their fundaments, never change.

Of course, in Diablo 3, the territory is configured differently, and new characters and classes populate it. One of the interesting new characters is Deckard Cain's niece - Leah, who follows the hero on certain quests. In fact, Leah is the one narrating the presentation trailer for Diablo 3.

The trailer begins with her recounting that a new beginning lies in the end of all things as it was predicted. But the shadows crawl around again and the stench of terror is spread by a bitter wind, while people keep on praying for guidance and strength, for a swift death... after having seen what hides beneath the Darkness.

The new Diablo 3 game is enriched with new classes of characters, new twists, new items and turns that make it far more inciting than the old versions of the game, impressing old Diablo fans and new gamers alike.

The Diablo 3 difficulty level is increased up to the point where even the most experienced and skilled gamers of the previous versions have to learn new tricks and refresh their strategies.

Of course, Diablo 3 is the result of several years of research, study, continuous testing and development. Those who try Diablo 3 for the first time will certainly feel sorry that they missed out on the previous editions, while the old Diablo fans will look forward to earn their status as dominators and masters of the game.

Diablo III Gold - How To Get Millions Of Gold In Diablo III

Are you playing Diablo III and want to learn how to get millions of gold in your account to buy all the necessary equipment to help you dominate your friends? Well, if you want to learn how to make your character extremely rich, below are a few tips that will definitely help you out.

Pick Up All Gold From Mobs

A common mistake that most Diablo III players make is that they do not pick up every single gold drop from mobs. The reason they might do this is because lower level and weak mobs drop small amounts of gold and not picking up the drop may seem like it wouldn't make a difference. But in reality, any value of gold counts and it all adds up.

This theory also extends to picking up all equipment drops. Low level equipment may seem unappealing and may take up inventory space, however if your goal is to make as much gold as you can and have a wealthy character, pick up all drops! If you inventory is full, simply find a checkpoint, teleport back to town and sell off all the useless and low level items and continue with your quests. This way, you will be able to maximize the amount of gold you collect for your entire Diablo III career.

Look For The Perfect Farming Spot

Killing mobs is the most traditional way to make gold in Diablo III. To make lots of gold from killing mobs, all you have to do is to find an area in the dungeon that constantly spawns mobs. Keep in mind that you do not want to be want to find a spawn that is too low level or too high level. Finding the perfect farming spot can mean all the difference in terms of making lots of gold as well as hoarding tons of EXP to reach the leveling cap in this game.

You may also want to come fully stocked with enough potions in your inventory to avoid having to waste time running back and forth to town to keep your character alive. Also, never settle on just one farming spot. An area may become saturated with other players, so look for multiple areas that have quick and good spawns to farm up lots of gold.

Invest In The Proper Equipment

In order to make a ton of gold in Diablo III, you must have the proper equipment to enable you to do so. Sometimes you can get lucky and find a nice drop from mobs which gives you good equipment, however most of the time, you will need to invest your gold on the proper equipment to allow you to make more gold.

You have heard the saying, spend money to make money right? Well the saying works for Diablo III as well. Invest your gold on items that will give you the maximum amount of Gold Find percentage as well as enough sustainability and damage to kill off mobs quickly.

This will enable you to burn through hoards of mobs quickly and get tons of gold drops, allowing you to become a Diablo III millionaire. Besides, you can always sell your equipment at a later point in time to get some of the gold you invested back.

What Makes The Diablo Series So Special?

Diablo is a hack'n slash action Role Playing Game (RPG) that was released in late 1996. And almost all gamers who like to play RPGs, have become a fan of it in a very short time. Then, in summer 2000, came the second title in the series, Diablo 2, which later became the favorite game of millions of gamers worldwide for many years. Even now, after more than 10 years, a large number of people continue playing this game and its various mods created by many fans.

Blizzard Entertainment, the creator of Diablo series, made an announcement on June 2008 that turned millions of fans' dreams into reality. They said that they had been developing the third game and trying their best to make it the best hack'n slash RPG ever.

While we are waiting for the release of Diablo 3, let me talk about what is so special about Diablo series, especially Diablo 2, that even after 10 years, the game is able to make itself played by a large number of gamers.

As a long term Diablo 2 player, I can say that this game has the right combination of characteristics an action RPG should have in order to keep the interest of the player alive for a long time. The first thing I want to mention is the story of the game. I really don't remember another game with such an interesting and captivating story. The game starts with an opening cinematic which tells the beginning of the story. Even at that instant, you can feel the greatness and the charm of the game. As you proceed through the acts, by the way there are 5 acts including the expansion, new cinematic videos continue telling the story creating an increasing curiosity and attention. I am quite sure that most of the Diablo players have watched those videos countless times to better get into the game world.

The game has three difficulty options as normal, nightmare and hell; where normal is the easiest and hell is the hardest. Once you complete the game in a difficulty level, the next one will be unlocked and you can continue playing with your character but this time with an increased difficulty and a more challenging world. Better items and greater fun comes with the increased difficulty, and that is the main point that makes gamers play it again and again.

As in all other RPGs, there is a leveling system in Diablo 2 as well. You gain experience by killing creatures and once you have enough experience, your character levels up. There is a level cap in Diablo 2, which is 99, and the game developers had implemented a unique idea which I find to be very successful. It is close to impossible to get to level 99, let me explain it like this: The amount of experience you need to gain a level, increases exponentially with each level and although the amount of experience you gain in the increased difficulty areas increase as well, after a certain point, (like around level 80) it takes more and more time to level up. This is brilliant right? What else could keep the players' focus on the game?

The item system in Diablo 2 is also a really unique and wisely crafted part of the game. Just like the three difficulty levels in the game, items also have three levels as normal, exceptional and elite. At the beginning of the game, you start with getting normal item drops and as you progress in the game and level up, item levels as well as their quality also increases. In my opinion, this system simply is what made Diablo 2 that much successful.

Additionally, all that magic, rare, unique and set items; miscellaneous gems, runes and the limitless combinations you can create, enrich the game and take it to a level where you will not get bored even after hundreds of hours of gameplay.

You now have a better idea about Diablo 2 and I highly suggest you try it if you haven't yet. I am sure you will like it if you are on good terms with action RPGs. Besides, it will be a good idea to do so before Diablo 3 comes out.

Diablo III Strategy

Diablo III is one of the best online games that you can play for many hours. While you are playing the game you can find weapons, gold, mana, find health potions and increase your character by learning skills and spells while building strength and finding new weapons to fight anything that tries to attack you.

Diablo III starts 20 years following the events where Diablo II ends. The Worldstone, which Tyrael protected at the ending of Diablo II "Lord of Destruction", has been destroyed, no longer shielding the world of Sanctuary from Heaven or even Hell.

Diablo has always been based on storyline, but now there will be class-based quests which will still include even more storyline. If you are like me I have been waiting for the longest time for this game to be released. Here are some helpful Diablo secrets that will help you destroy the competition and become a master at the game.

When stating the game be sure to understand where and what all the shortcuts do. Locating and understanding where to get potions and spells or even where to get your weapons repaired or replaced is always a good way to starting a new game.

I have also learned that understanding what all spells do and how to throw them at the right time is very important to game play. Diablo III has new characters such as the "Witch Doctor" that is similar to the Necromancer which raised the undead to fight with him. The good thing is they have their own weapons, skills and magic. The other new class is the "Wizard" which uses new tricks like Disintegration and Slow Time and uses basic magic skills.

During the game you will have to defeat new characters some which are basically like the ones from Diablo II. The "Dune Thresher" is like the sand maggot but more dangerous. These creatures will pop out of the ground and attack you. The "Gnarled Walkers" are like walking trees that will follow you.

Remember when you saved "Deckard Cain" in Diablo II? Well now he has a journal that has information about what really happened in Diablo and Diablo II. The book is interactive and all you do to turn the page is click the bottom corner of the book.

I believe this is one of the greatest games that was ever made it has so much to offer such as world maps such as "New Tristam" and "Caldeum". The game also includes dungeons like the "Tristam Cathedral".

Blizzard informed me that the game must be played online. If you do not have an internet connection "You" will not be able to play the game. Unfortunately you can't play offline like you could with Diablo II.

This book will help you understand Diablo better so you don't get killed or left in the dark. One thing I like about this book is you will know how to develop yourself better so when you get in a rough situation you wont be killed as easy. I believe if you need the inside scoop on being a better Diablo player then this is the book for you.

Will We Fight Angels in Diablo 3?

It has been over 10 years since there has been a new Diablo game and with the upcoming release of Diablo 3, players all over the internet are speculating on possibilities and new twists that could enrich gameplay in the latest Diablo game.

One of the most common speculations is whether or not we will fight angels in Diablo 3. If you have played Diablo 2 before, you know that there were three realms in the Diablo universe: Heaven, Hell, and Sanctuary (the "Earth" of Diablo). The primary plot of Diablo 2 was to defeat the demons from Hell which had invaded Sanctuary.

However, at the end of Diablo 2, you learn that Sanctuary was not created by the Heavens and that the humans which populate sanctuary are neither the sole creation of angels or demons but rather the combined efforts of the two. Furthermore, most demons and angels alike had no idea that Sanctuary existed and both sides were bent on the destruction of Sanctuary.

In order to combat these threats, the Worldstone was created in order to hide the existence of Sanctuary from both Heaven and Hell alike. The reason it had to be hidden from Heaven was that many of the angels considered Sanctuary to be an abomination and wanted to destroy it.

In Diablo 2, the Worldstone itself became corrupted and the game ended with the Archangel Tyrael destroying the Worldstone. When this happened, the world of Sanctuary was exposed to Heaven for the first time, revealing to the vengeful Archangels Sanctuary's existence.

As a result, it is very likely that we will have to fight at least a few angels in Diablo 3. It is rumored that the fourth and most difficult act in Diablo actually takes place in Heaven. Typically, Act 4 in the previous Diablo games has always taken place in Hell, so it will be interesting to go to the Diablo universe's Heaven for the first time.

If you are thinking this is just speculation, there is one thing which certainly confirms the fact that we will fight angels. If you open up your character sheet in game, you will notice that there is a new element that you can get resist gear for: Holy. You can now get equipment which reduces the amount of damage you take from Holy attacks.

This is a new stat for Diablo 3 as previously you never fought against enemies which were able to use Holy attacks. Demons do not use Holy energy for their attacks, so this means only one thing: that we will be fighting angels in Diablo 3.

What Makes Diablo III Irresistible to Fans?

A masterpiece of the fantasy genre, the Diablo Series has gathered millions of fans all over the world, putting down all borders and all demographic profiles. One way to explain the awesome popularity of this Blizzard Entertainment game is to attribute it to the skill factor, respectively to the fact that, in order to level up in Diablo, spending hours playing and learning effective strikes, crawling dungeons or getting rid or demons is simply not enough.

Progress in Diablo is reached combining skills with strategy, so the gamers have two choices: to improve their skills, develop new strategies and play the game better, or to die trying. The forums are already bursting with fans commenting the Diablo games. Everywhere you look there are new and new rave reviews on the previous editions. Some fans comment on their expectations and predictions regarding "Diablo III" - the edition that promises to amaze everyone.

Just a short look at the information available on "Diablo III" will reveal why all gamers worth their shooting capacity are desperate to try their hand with this game.

"Diablo III" is said to be nothing like its previous editions. Rumor has it that it scores on all the game departments, in all possible senses. Fans all over the world classify it as the market leader for the following aspects:

Fresh design: with most of the action taking place in the dungeons, this Diablo game is evaluated as smarter, brighter, of more striking colors and design. Gamers describe it as a completely new experience. Dungeons crawling surrounded by total darkness is realistic and yet not so easy, even for experienced gamers.
The Dual-auction House System: this aspect of "Diablo III" makes the topic of numerous forums discussions. Players are allowed to trade both gold and real money in "Diablo III", and most gamers agree that the new system has every chance of boosting the dynamics of the economy and spicing up the overall experience. Of course, there are also fans who worry that these aspects favor experts and hackers and the dual-auction house system could be banned if it is considered to encourage gambling. Either way, all the elements put together bring their contribution to increase the game's appeal.
The character classes: a simple overview of the character classes in the Diablo series, especially given the possibility to choose gender without compromising on the character's abilities is enough to recognize great achievements.

All in all, gaming is taken to a whole new level by the apparition of "Diablo III"!

A Brief Diablo 3 Leveling Guide

In this brief Diablo 3 leveling guide, I would like to offer a few simple concepts that will help you level your characters to 60 as quickly as possible during the first months of the Diablo 3 release.

Since the release of Diablo 2 in 2000, much time has passed and the fans of this ground-breaking game have waited patiently for the next installment in the series. Well, Diablo 3 is finally upon us...well almost. Soon to be released, Diablo 3 promises to be a worthy addition to the Blizzard MMORPG arsenal which contains the likes of Diablo, Starcraft, and World of Warcraft. With the release date so near in the future, one question is bound to be on many people's minds. How can I get my Diablo 3 character to level 60 as quickly as possible?

While the exact details of the final release version are still top secret, Blizzard has given a pretty good idea as to the style of the game play of Diablo 3 as well as what each character class will offer. Based on this information, I would like to offer the following suggestions to increase the speed at which you can level your particular character class.

First, always keep your follower active and fighting. Much like in Diablo 2, Diablo 3 will allow you to have a follower, otherwise known as a henchman, accompany you through the treacherous zones of the world and fight along side of you. By allowing your follower to help combat your enemies, you will do more overall damage to your foes and thus dispatch them more quickly. And of course, the faster you kill your enemies, the faster you gain experience towards your next level. Additionally, by keeping your follower active, he or she will absorb some of the incoming damage from your enemies, ultimately allowing you to survive through some of the tougher situations. By remaining alive, you will obviously continue gaining experience and increase your overall leveling speed.

Next, I recommend playing with a friend. A real friend that is...not just your in-game follower companion. By playing multi-player with a friend in Diablo 3, you'll be able to absolutely tear through your enemies and gain experience very quickly. The smartest choice is to choose 2 character classes that complement each other well and enjoy the synergy of your chosen combination. Class combinations such as warriors and wizards are ideal due to the fact that you will have 1 character able to rush into the group of enemies and absorb large amounts of damage with heavy armor and another character able to stand off at range and demolish your foes with magic from a safe distance. Additionally, playing with a friend is always more fun, so the time will fly by and you will be gaining loads of experience while socializing and having a good time. You know that whole saying about time flying and having fun...right?

I hope you have enjoyed this brief Diablo 3 leveling guide. As the release date continues to near, I will be offering much more detailed information with specific tips for each class that will help you to level your Diablo 3 character to 60 in the most efficient way possible.

Until next time, happy gaming!

What Makes Diablo III Superior to Any Fantasy Game Ever Made?

The gaming industry has known an astonishing development throughout the last decade. A great variety of games have become available, giving fans the option to choose, depending on their preferences, between traditional board games, skill games, mystery games, tactical games etc.

The most popular genre remains, however, the fantasy/skill type, and Diablo game series has reached the hearts of gamers all over the world.

But, what sets "Diablo III" apart from any other games ever made? We could call it a trendsetter, considering that it excels in all aspects, including music, art, writing, graphics, playability and others.

It has also succeeded to set new difficulty standards. Gamers find obtaining the status of dominator in "Diablo III" a real challenge, describing it as far more complicated than what most of the other competitive games involve.

It is very challenging even for the dominators of its previous two editions, who have to develop new strategies and use all of their skills to stay alive, while leveling-up is also a tough deal, especially for new players.

Another impressive feature of the game is the player vs. player (PvP) mode, significantly increasing the game's dynamism. The newest and one of the most talked about feature is the system of the dual currency auction house that enables players to alternate the use of in-game gold with that of real world money.

Since Blizzard does not sell anything within the game, it is up to the worldwide gamers to control the game's economy. For example, the exchange rate depends exclusively on how much money is introduced in the game and how players around the world use it.

Besides skills, the game focuses also on strategy and tactics, so gamers who depended on skills alone are about to be surprised. They have to outthink their enemies and continuously develop new strategies in order to keep up with the dynamics of the game.

As a result, only the very best players succeed to become dominators. In this case, victory has nothing or very little to do with the time one spends in front of the computer screen. One explanation would be the fact that none of the old formulas work in the newest edition of Diablo.

Fans are thrilled too, as "Diablo III" impressed them with its exquisite design, the creation of Jay Wilson, magically complemented by Russell Brower's music. The original combination between the new "Diablo III" legacy and the popular storyline make this game simply irresistible.

Diablo III Strategy Guide - Secret Strategies To Dominate Diablo III

Are you playing Diablo III and you want to learn how you can dominate all of your friends and enemies at Diablo III? Well, if you want to be the envy of your friends, I have listed a handful of Diablo III strategies that you can use to dominate the game.

One of the first thing that you must do in order to dominate Diablo III is to learn how to power level. Power leveling your character to reach the level cap is crucial. By reaching level 60 swifting, you will be able to get all the skills, talents, runes and equipment to completely obliterate your enemy.

To power level your character, there are a couple of things that you will want to focus on. Quests and experience bonuses. Quests are Diablo III's best way to hoard a lot of EXP in a short amount of time. This may seem obvious to you that to level up quickly you will want to accept quests, however may newbies fail to realize which quests to take and which to reject.

There are various quests littered throughout Diablo III that are designed to waste your time. What I mean by this is that the gold and EXP reward for completing a certain quest is very minimal compared to the task that you had to do. By avoiding these junk quests and accepting quests that give you a good reward, you will be able to avoid wasting time and will be able to power level to level 60 quickly.

Another thing to consider when power leveling is the experience bonuses given to you when you kill mobs. Experience bonus is given out whenever you trigger a certain event. These events revolve around killing multiple enemies at once and the bonus varies with the amount of enemies you kill.

To make the most of your grinding and farming, it is important try to combo your skills together to kill as many enemies as you can. Focus on using AOE spells if the class you choose offers it. This will enable you to damage lots of enemies at once giving you the chance to get the experience bonus.

The second thing that you will want to focus on to get ahead of your friend in Diablo III is by farming for gold. Having lots of gold in your account is absolutely essential if you want to have all the best weapons and armour to dominate your enemies. Here are a couple of steps that you can take to pave the way to becoming a Diablo III millionaire.

One of the biggest mistakes that people make is by not picking up all the mob drops. Most players neglect low level or low value drops from mobs. What you need to understand is that all drops count towards increasing the size of your bank roll. No matter how small or invaluable the drop is, pick it up and sell it in town. This may cause you to take more trips to town, however the difference in gold at the end of your Diablo III career could be huge if you neglect small drops from mobs.

Want to learn secret insider strategies that have been developed and used by the pros daily to completely dominate Diablo III?

Diablo Instructions

Since, Diablo II came out; various genres of high quality games which are very similar to Diablo II came out as well for the last 10 years.

Now let's find out what has changed compared to previous series.

Diablo III displays brilliant 3D graphics not seen in Diablo II, but Diablo III doesn't have a gloomy atmosphere from Diablo II anymore, because of fancy and colorful graphic.

In Diablo II, there were 5 characters and another 2 more characters were added through the expansion.

In Diablo III there are 5 characters which might similar to characters from Diablo II but they are all new characters, who have totally different skills.

All the characters in Diablo II had the same amount of HP and MP, but in this series every character get to have same amount of HP and different amount of MP depends on their characteristic.

Barbarian uses fury, Monk uses spirit, and Demon hunter uses hatred/discipline. From the previous series they used to use their MP by using their skills but in Diablo III they gain fury, spirit and hatred by using their skills and they can use them to defeat enemies.

There have been many changes in the skill part. In Diablo II, users could have picked their own skills whichever they wanted from the skill tree, but in Diablo III when users reach certain level, they gain skills automatically and they can mix up with other skills they have, to create their own unique character.

It seems there are lots of limitations, but that's not the real story.

In previous series, users were able to create their own unique character by using their skill points which they get every time when they reach new level, on the skill tree. However, because of few popular powerful skills on each character, there was less diversity. Also skills could not be changed, once it had all been set up

In Diablo III, every time they level up, they automatically gain new skills which are separated by active skills and passive skills, and they can be mixed up to create a new skill for every different situation without any restrictions.

In Diablo III, users are able to register their main skill and side skill on their right and left buttons of the mouse. Also they can set up the short key (1, 2, 3, 4), for the skill runes which makes skill stronger, and passive skill which improves character's ability.

Therefore, by using all these skills, it is now possible to create more than 10 billion skills on each character.

Above all, it is possible to recreate many different skills, for every different situation by mixing up skills. It is no longer necessary to raise many different characters for experience the unique of each character, since it is possible to play the game with more strategy for skills.

Why Diablo III Will Be the Best Game Ever Made

The Diablo series is the best PC game series ever made. Of course this is just a matter of opinion. A lot of people will say that World of Warcraft is the best RPG ever made but I disagree.

Brief History

Diablo I was created by a group of programmers from a company called Blizzard Entertainment. The first title was just called "Diablo". In the first title you started off as 1 of 3 classes of characters and battled your way through many monsters, bosses and story line until you killed Diablo himself.

Diablo II came out next which was a much better game and they added 4 new classes of characters. They continued the story line and introduced new characters and added tons of new items. This game reigned in it's time and out of all the games I ever played (which is a LOT!) this game was always the best. I literally played it for 5 years.

Diablo III

At the time of this article this game had not been released however the mere trailers and teaser videos alone have got many people hyped up and looking forward to this 3rd version. They overhauled the game completely but kept all of the important elements which make Diablo the best in its class of hack n' slash. They kept the game in third person view but enhanced the graphics tremendously using directx 10. This is exactly was I was hoping they would do and I am very excited.

Gameplay

Diablo is a hack n' slash game. This means that you can attack or get attacked by many monsters in real time and your attacks are based on how many times you press buttons, etc. The skills on Diablo are setup so that you can switch between them quickly and created various strategies. Skill animations are notorious for looking beautiful in Diablo.

Graphics

They went ahead and created Diablo III using DirectX 10. This makes for a much more pleasant visual experience due to details, physics and destructible environments. Third person view remains the same, thank God! I always said it would ruin the game if they went first person view like they did World of Warcraft.

Multiplayer

Another one of Diablo's fun factors is the online play with parties of people interacting throughout the world. Diablo has always been free to play online but I have not seen if this will be true in the third version. Here is to hoping...

Addictive Gameplay and Random Environments

2 other distinct Diablo attributes is the endless addictive gameplay. Diablo was always built to randomly create dungeons and levels so that the replay value is tremendous. The extreme quantity of items, character and skill strategies, and weapon mods make this game extremely addicting.
